Bernie has been playing guitar since the age of 9 years of age.
Moved to the Central West & began having Guitar lessons with the well known "Leo Dekroo"
In this time Bernie has learned so much from Leo on how to read music, play by ear,stage presence,techniqual aspects of the Guitar.
Bernie has also had lessons with local Newcastle Guitar wizard "Bruce Mathiske"
Bernie also has completed 12 months of Guitar lessons with Sydney based & world renowned Guitarist "James Norbert Ivanyi" Stepping outside of his comfort zone & delving into a whole new level of playing.
Bernie had 4 years of Classical Singing training with "Paula West", which has given him the tools to sing without a microphone,voice projection,correct vocal technique to preserve the voice & prevent strain.
Gained valuable experience & studied grade 3 & 4 AMEB Certificate in vocal performance.
Professionalism is a key ingredient to Bernie's shows covering many facets such as;

* Minimal breaks
Bernie usually arrives 1.5hrs prior to a gig to set up & ensure everything is perfect for the performance.
Using a professional touring P.A. system & digital mixer allows every show to be saved. This ensures that the sound is mixed to perfection each & every time.
